Line to Pattern, 2-d to 3-d

The focus of this workshop was to create patterned paper while exploring line quality.
Many types of materials could be used.
The first studies were on flat paper.

Patterned paper with lines

The next step was to explore 3-d form and add pattern to it.
(The original pattern was photocopied and turned into black and white.)
One pattern is chosen and then folded into a 3-D form.
The 3-d forms are repeated four times and a combined form is created.
