Consider what you might do with these prompts: enlarge, reduce, repeat, stretch, distort, frame, crop, cut up, reassemble, join, and begin again.
A variety of materials will be used – paper, collage, acrylic paint, colored drawing tools, and graphite.

Drawing without Knowing
Responding to the process of Drawing
Line variation, mark making, creating shapes, creating layers and connections
Playing with Drawing Materials - charcoal, graphite, eraser, blending tools, color
                        Organic and Non-representational Abstraction
Opening the Door to the Unknown

Are you interested in abstraction, but not really sure how to enter the territory? This workshop will explore a variety of drawing materials and ways to begin drawing abstractly. We will engage in the play between action and reaction, as well as beginning with intention and allowing the response process to guide the drawing.
